To recap the first few chapters,.... Tobias has taken his aptitude test which is a test that says whether he what faction he should go into. Factions are determined by personality traits that are most prominent (brave, selfless, peaceful, honest, and the intelligent). Anyhow his result for his test result was abnegation (selfless), which is the faction he is currently in and being abused by his father in, he wants out. Although it would disappoint his faction Tobias decided to choose Dauntless (the brave) to escape his father and his abuse.After the choosing ceremony is when the thrilling part begins to get through the initiation, the beginning of it is having to run to jump onto a train.Then after he has to jump off of a high building (into a net) and initiation has only just began.
Q1: Are any details missing? Answer: Yes absolutely it is very hard to describe every detail of this book, mainly because it has a very difficult setting to describe
Q2: Does Tobias have any friends? Answer: Not in the beginning of the book but he does make some along the way.
This sounds like Divergent, but even better. I wonder what will happen next.
