 A Child Called It.
So far into the book i've gotten far enough to learn and discover some other terrible games David's mother plays on him. By now things have gotten worse David's mother doesn't even call him by his name she refers to him as " the boy". At first David thought he could escape his mother's beatings through his father and just his dad of being around him at first it did make a difference but not for long, it changed it didn't matter if his father was around or not his mother had gotten even more careless. David learns quickly a better way to distract his mom in ways that could save his life. He buys time until his brothers come home because he knows if they are home his mother won't hurt him.

1. if i could ask the author any question i would ask how he survived and what was the real cause of his mother insane strange unexpected behavior real reasoning. I would ask him this because in the book i know he was a very young kid and at the time he didn't understand why his mother just snapped and became this different person out of no where but now that hes older he probably knows the real reason.

2. one way my main character solved a problem is buying time to save his life he had to do this several times he continues to out smart his mother hes always trying to be one step ahead of the game so he can stay alive. i learned that if you use your brain to get you out of problems such as instead of fighting you will most likely win.
