Four, formerly know as Tobias age 16,is living with with his abusive father named Marcus, he is living in a faction called Abnegation. The factions are (Dauntless (the brave), Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), and Erudite (the intelligent. ) Four wants to escape his father in any way possible so during the choosing ceremony he chooses Dauntless. This book is the story of his struggle to fit in, to survive, to be faithful to his faction rather than his family and how he meets his new faction family.
Q1: Does the title relate to the book? Answer: Yes because Four is his name and this is his story.
Q2: Why does father abuse him? Answer: His father considers it punishment, but it is unexplained is his motive.
Comments: This book is kinda hard to understand if you have not read the Divergent Series. Its nice that in the book it shows that he has changed a lot from the beginning to ending. If you like fiction books i recommend this one.
