Paper Towns- By John Green

  Margo, a mysterious high school girl runs away after spending the last night with Quentin. Margo is leaving little clues to find her or so Quentin thinks. Radar, Ben and Lacey are all Quentin and Margo's friends. They decide to help Quentin find Margo. Desperation and panic set in when the clues lead them to believe that Margo will kill herself if they don't find her soon. Margo's clues give them a time limit and if they don't race to find her it will be too late. They all go on a road trip to upstate New York and they have to speed or they wont make it there in time. Faster, faster and faster they went along the roads until they finally reached Margo.

8. Where in time or history did this story take place? This Novel takes place in modern day Orlando. Although we see Orlando as a beautiful and tropical place, Margo cannot stand it. She thinks of it as a paint chipped tourist trap. She even describes it as being so fake that they are "Paper Towns". When they kids go on a road trip to find her in upstate new York they imagine it being like New York City. But when they get to upstate New York they find it isn't anything like New York City. When they finally reach Margo and they talk to her they learn that she doesn't like life anymore here than she did in Orlando.

10. Think of one way that a person in the story solved a problem. Quentin in the novel has the problem of finding Margo. He finds Margo and solves the problem by getting friends to help him. It shows that if you have fun with friends along the way it makes things better and easier.
