The novel had a really great ending to it.In the final parts of the book it kinda brought everyone together,because they went back to the "Pullmans" and had ice cream together. In one of the other parts of the book Auggie and one of his best friend Jack had a fight because when they went back to school Auggie stopped talking to Jack which made him feel not too good.But in the end they made up and are now friends again.But the "turning point" of the book was when the students go on a camping trip and everyone calls Auggie a freak.But then some of the kids realize that it wasn't a good decision to call him that and they apologize and his friends start to except him for who is.

Question #1-Does the novel affect your life?
Yes,I think the story affects my life because it kinda taught me that know matter what a person looks like that you should always be nice to them because you don't know what the person is feeling inside.So by being nice to them and making friends with them will make them feel good about themselves.

Question # 2-Have the characters changed?
Yes,I think the characters have changed from the beginning to now especially Auggies friends and people he goes to school with.They have changed because they now except him for who he is and dont call him a "freak".They have all changed in a positive way.
