Josh Hamilton- beyond belief by Tim Keown nonfiction ... Jacob Buell

As of right now in the book, Josh is slowly starting to wean off the drug use. He is realizing what he was doing was wrong, and not going to help him get any further in his baseball career. So far, the more days he is drug free, he gets a little bit back to his old self. He is beginning to hit more and is becoming a better player.

4. Some of the language the other uses in the book, allows me as the reader to understand the pain josh is going through in this stage of his life. It's not as much as the vocab, as it is more of tone in the sentences. It makes you feel depressed. This is a good way for the author to write this story, because it allows you to start to feel how Josh has felt.

7. I am not completely done with this book, but so far I have learned that depending on the people you hang with, it could effect your outcome in life. This helps me for when I get older, because I will now what some of the consequences may be if I allow myself to be around certain people too often.
