Throw like a girl by Jean Thompson, fiction blog 3

As of right now im reading throw like a girl by Jean Thompson. Currently in the last chapters it was talking about how Melanies mom missed her husband and wanted him back. He did pass away after having a heart attack. This book is full of mysteries and her friends and mother speaks her piece about the world and womens places in it.

Question 2: Do the main characters change by the end of the book? Do they grow or mature? Do they learn something about themselves and how the world works?
-I think that the characters did change because Melanie did mature at the end and she started not to care what people thought about her and i think she learned how to not care about what people think also to kind of look past things

Question 5: Is the ending satisfying? If so, why? If not.. and how would you change it?
-I think the ending wasnt really that interesting because there was no really excitement throughout the book. If i could change it i would put a little twist at the end like have her dad actually be alive and then maybe there could be a book 2.

  1. I think it stinks that the ending didn't come out to well and hat you're right that the dad should've stayed alive to make a second book.

  4. I like the suggestions that you put for the end of the book because you didn't find it interesting by putting those suggestions it could change the whole book.
