The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, fiction, Alyssa Woodruff

This is a survival story that involves 12 districts, two tributes each. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, from district 12, are going in to fight for their own life. But is anyone really safe? Not really. Everyone is in a dome while fighting and all of the obstacles are trying to make them die. All of the other tributes are trying to survive all of the arrows and spears that are coming at them, but they are also trying to kill the others. Throughout the game, the tributes vanish for Peeta and Katniss to find themselves to be the only ones alive. But can't there only be one winner? Yes, so the two tributes try to kill themselves so that they don't end up back stabbing the other. Headquarters makes an exception and allows the two to win.

QUESTION 5:Was the ending satisfying?...

The ending was kind of predictable because the reader most likely knows that there are two more books in the trilogy. Since both Katniss and Peeta are the main characters, they can't die. Well, that is the case in most books. If one of them died, then the rest of the books don't seem the same.

QUESTION 10:Think of one way a person solved a problem.....

Katniss and Peeta didn't want to betray their own district to kill each other. So instead, they tried to kill themselves so  that it is like "Have us both or none of us." I personally don't have any of the same problems that even symbolize this problem.

  3. I like how you stayed vague about describing the story. I also thought the ending was quite predictable when I read the book to.
