Nearing the few days before the "# days before" ended on each page, Alaska, Pudge, Colonel, Lara (Pudge's one day girlfriend) and Takumi held their revenge on the boys who flooded Alaska's room. They hung out in a barn away from the school drinking and telling stories that night. When the day finally neared when the title of the page came "the last day" Alaska was drinking with Pudge and the Colonel when Alaska answered the phone then left the school screaming in tears. That was the last time anyone from school had saw her, Alaska died in a car accident that night. The rest of the book is Pudge and the Colonel and her friends dealing and trying to figure out what exectly happened that night and why and how she went.
Question 5. Satisfying ending?
Yes I liked how the Old man (a teacher) used Alaska's question "How will you-you personally- ever get out of this labyrinth of suffering?" for the final paper. I also liked how Takumi told pudge about Alaska's mothers death anniversary
Question 10. Dealing with problems?
Alaska had a problem, she had to deal with the boys who flooded her room. The way Alaska dealt with this problem was putting blue dye in their hair products. The outcome for doing this could have gotten her in more trouble, a better way to have dealt with this would have been to just tell the Eagle what the boys did to her room in the first place.
