When the students come back from Christmas break The students go to their chill spot and sleep there for the night. There they talk about their lives and miles gets a kiss from a girl named Lara that was in their group. After a night of drinking it is revealed that the next morning Alaska is killed in a car accident. Miles and the colonel sort out their emotions and then start to investigate. there is many unanswered questions about  her death and they are determined to find out.
