Divergent, Veronica Roth

At this point in the book, Beatrice has taken her aptitude test to find out her true faction. Her results are erudite, candor, and dauntless. Since it resulted in more than one faction, she is known as a divergent, which are forbidden in their society. She cant tell anyone or else she will be killed. at the ceremony, she has to choose a faction she will live with for the rest of her life.She chooses dauntless. After the ceremony she joined the dauntless by jumping off a train from high tracks. This was their anniciation . If anyone didn't jump, they would be faction less.Beatrice soon meets the other dauntless and is starting to fit in. after that she changes her name to Tris, to symbolize her new life.

Question 7: has this novel changed you- In a way yes. right now, books about a distopian society are very popular. Including the hunger games, and the maze runner. The book Divergent opened my eyes up to potential futures where the world lives in isolation. Although something like that probably will not happen, its always an interesting topic to think about
