In this next part of the book LaVaughn and Jolly start to become close as well as Jollys children too. As that is happening LaVaughn grades start to slip and it becomes challenging for her to keep up with school. Also Jolly has enrolled into a school program for young mothers so she can start to get a education and maybe a better job. 

Question #1-Describe the main characters?

The 2 main characters of the book are 2 treenagers names LaVaughn and Jolly.Through the story there characteristics start to change and devolop. LaVaughn  is a hard working girl just trying to raise money for collage. Jolly is a teenage mother of 2 trying to raise moneh because she doesnt want to apply for welfare.

Question #2-Has the novel changed you?

I think the novel has changed my perspective in the way i look at things because even if someone is a teenage mother doesnt mean they arent hard working.They want to provide the best for their kids.
