Hannah baker committed suicide, and she left behind 7 double sided cassette tapes.Each side of a tape is about on person and what they did to have a effect on Hannah. The tapes are passed around so the people on the tapes know what they did to make her do this to herself. The cassettes explain why she killed herself. The story is told by a person named Clay Jensen, he is on the tapes but he has know idea what for.
Has the novel changed me:
The novel has not changed me, however it has opened up a new variety of books. I have never really been into book but this book has really caught onto me because of the idea of it being a mystery.
One question I would ask the author:
One question I would ask Jay Asher would be what inspired you to write this book, because the book is sad and maybe something happened in their life that hap them write the book. I have not read any of the authors other books. If their books are in common the Thirteen Reasons Why I would be very interested in reading them.
The first sentence got me intrigued and made me want to go in the library and find this novel. It seems very intresting.
