After the Gladers find their way out of the maze, they meet some people and they take the Gladers to a building. When they arrive, the Gladers eat and shower, thinking they are safe. After the Gladers get their rest, they wake up in the middle of the night, startled because there are madmen that are calling themselves "Cranks." Their flesh is torn and they have insane eyes. They were in the windows shouting "Kill me!" or "I'm a bloody Crank" over and over again. After the Gladers escape their bedroom, they enter a dark, smelly room. As they turn the lights on, they could see at least a dozen people hanged from the ceiling. Thomas, one of the main characters notice that the people on the ceiling are the ones that rescued the Gladers.
Question 1: Thomas and Minho are two of the main characters. Both are hardworking, smart, not the type to give up, brave and ambitious. They are still trying to figure out more information about themselves, since their memories were wiped. Also, they are trying to get out of Phase 2: The Scorch. Thomas and Minho are both Runners. Runners are gladers that go in the maze and try to find a way out.
Question 3: The Scorch Trials is the 2nd story in the Maze Runner series. The author uses a single viewpoint during the story, which is Thomas. I think the author chose to tell the story in Thomas's point of view so the reader could understand and connect to the relationship that Thomas have with the Gladers, WICKED, and Theresa, she is the last Glader that have been sent.
Sounds like an insane book, literally. But it is interesting. Your blog is pretty good, I like the way you limited detail but gave enough to get attention to the story. The answers to the questions were good too.
