Schooled by Gordon Korman, realistc fiction

So far I've been reading about a book called schooled and it is about a boy named Capricorn Anderson, Cap for short. Cap, just your average...Uhh...Hippie, he has never tasted pizza, never watched television, and never heard of a wedgie. Ever since he was little, his only experience has been living on farm commune and being homeschooled by his hippie grandmother, Rain. But when Rain falls out of a tree while picking plums, Cap is forced to move in with a guidance counselor and attend to the local middle school!
